MUHAMMAD IMRAN, born in Faisalabad District, Punjab Province, Pakistan on March 13 1987. He is a Postdoctoral Researcher. He graduated from department of Physics, GC University Faisalabad (GCUF), Faisalabad, Pakistan with bachelor’s degree majored in Physics, master’s degree in Nanotechnology from University of Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan and doctoral degree in Plasma Physics from Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China.
He is mainly engaged in basic plasma physics and diagnostic study of plasma-facing materials by using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy. Quantitative and depth profile analysis of impurity deposition in the fusion devices, etc. He published 4 SCI papers and attended academic conferences at home and abroad, and made more than 10 reports.
